Panel discussion series "Business for Europe - Goals and Reality"

Poor growth, unemployment and the restructuring of the welfare state are topics which concern the citizens of Germany just as much as those in other countries in Europe. Why is it so difficult to find solutions to these problems, some of which have been known for many years and debated countless times? Which methods do our European neighbors employ in their attempts to overcome similar difficulties? What can the business world do to help, and which are its special tasks, responsibilities and possibilities?

Since 2005 the Dräger Foundation organizes in cooperation with the Schwarzkopf Foundation panel discussions on topical economic issues at irregular intervals twice a year in Berlin.

For this series of panel discussions, the Dräger Foundation, with its aim of provoking societal, social and cultural debate, joined forces with the Schwarzkopf Foundation, whose aim is to inform young people about developments and issues in the field of European policy and to motivate them to embrace the European idea.
